I probably shouldn't be posting this, since it's my grandma's Xmas present, but it really was too pretty not to post! Although now I feel like a party pooper. :blush:

Spoiling aside, I must jump up and down that I actually got my acrylics to cooperate with me for a change! Woo!

Wow, well I bet it's very common in UK that there are Scottish/Irish/Welsh/English all mixed up together.

I'm sure in the UK it's fairly common - though my husband is also Irish/Scottish/English....I think the only difference is that he's got a few Polish people floating around somewhere in his family. I've actually been trying to research my Irish side (since I'm half Irish); so far I've hit a dead end. My great-grandfather's parents came from Ireland, and I just can't find any information on them. :-(

That sucks =/ I think I'm pure Finnish, but there is a rumour that there's some German blood in my family's bloodline. But I don't really think so.

I didn't know I was partially Scottish until recently. One of my Mom's cousins has done extensive research back into their side of the family (way back into the 1600's), and it turns out that they're predominantly Scottish/English. It's all pretty neat, actually.

I simply love the colors in this work, you've done awesome job again. The tones of color are very beautiful and the pale horse looks mystical, almost transparent. Black hair, tail and legs and the darker details in the horse fit still very well.

Great work! : )
