I was reading 's journal and she wanted to know if anyone would make some art in memory of Ardan, a Gypsy Vanner gelding who unfortunately lost a battle with colic very recently. He was only two.

I took some liberties with his mane, giving him something more mature than what a two-year-old horse would have. I hope his markings are at least close; I never did save the reference photo and I think I only looked at it once or twice. I didn't want to give him the usual white angel wings, so he's got more of a barred pattern like a Cooper's hawk.

I am admittedly a crappy painter, so I'll apologize in advance for what this looks like. Unfortunately, I'm out of Black pencils and so is the store. *grumble*
